The femme fatale is high classed and isn't from around the area so she comes to the detective alone she wears a fur coat to represent her wealth and makeup was expensive in the period film noir was made so this also represents her class.
The detective is of a high class and his suit and hat which is the clothing of a typical detective shows his status and profession and this also conveys his age. He is an isolated man who doesn't really have a wide circle of friends, there is only him and his buddy detective which we didn't show in our opening sequence however our opening sequence shows both the femme fatals and detectives isolation and desperation shows through the lust of the detective and the forwardness of the femme fatal.

Role allocation
The Film Director
The general role of a film director is to direct the making of the film. They have the task of creating an overall vision of what the film will be and what it will look like. also-
- Being the driving creative force in a film's production - visualising and defining the style and structure of the film, then bringing it to life
- Carrying out duties such as casting, script editing, shot composition, shot selection and editing
- Acting as the crucial link between the production, technical and creative teams
The Film Producer
Film producers prepare and then supervise the making of a film. They will be heavily involved in all 4 main phases of production: A producer will oversee each project from conception to completion and may also be involved in the marketing and distribution processes. In our film this will be Ellesse Darkes.
The Film Editor
The film editor works with the raw footage, selecting shots and combining them into sequences to create a finished motion picture. Film editors work in the post-production process of filmmaking. They take all the shots from filming, and edit them until the finished product matches the director's vision of the film. In our film Jessica Hall and Ellesse Darkes will all be fulfilling this role.
Cameraperson
They are responsible for physically operating the camera and maintaining composition and camera angles in a given scene or shot. They will also be responsible for collaborating with the director in making technical and creative decisions.

production journey
Production journey
friday 5th december
In this lesson i began script writing and created a storyboard of our film noir to allow us to easily create our film with good planning and i also practiced using the cameras again and decided what costumes we wanted our actors to wear so we could start creating our film.
Tuesday 9th December 2014
In this lesson we finished the script and began casting and filming our production.
Tuesday 6th January 2015
In the lesson today I have focused on completing my blog and added transition effects onto my video this makes the production look less disconnected and detached completing all the editing in next lesson.
Friday 9th January 2015
We added a final scene in as we wanted a change of scenery and we thought it would allow us to have better shots. I also tested whether or not the production looked good in black and white or no effect added and in the end we decided it looks better without and this also adds to our starting aim which was to make our film noir more modern.
Monday 12th January 2015
In today's lesson I will storyboard extra scenes and will make sure that the location is accessible. Also i will beginwriting our evaluation.
